Victoria M. DeLuna of Sonora TX passed on July 2, 2020 at the age of 67.
She was born July 29, 1952 to the late Joel and Epifania Martinez, in Allende Coahuila, MX.
She was the youngest of twelve children.
She is survived by sisters, Maria Ines DeLuna, Maria (Maruca) DeLuna; brother Feliz Martinez; husband Martin F. DeLuna; children, Martin R. DeLuna, Jaime M. DeLuna, Jose H. DeLuna, and Maribel D. Robles; Grandkids, Joanna DeLuna, Angel DeLuna, Rashel DeLuna, Jacqueline DeLuna, Christian DeLuna, Mario DeLuna, and Julian DeLuna.
Victoria loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother (Guella), and friend. Always helping others with what she could.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So, he put his arms around you and whispered “Come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you go. And, although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Sonora Cemetery.
