Jennie Swyter, 60, of Sonora, TX; passed away on March 19, 2021 with family by her side.

Jennie was a multifaceted person with many interests.

As a small girl, she developed a love of architecture. Jennie could draw the most detailed floor plans.

She received her drafting degree in 1997 from Howard University.

She was very crafty. Jennie sewed, crocheted, cross stitched and even tried her hand at quilting.

Jennie had a passion for studying history. These last few years of her life were spent studying the various monarchs of Europe. You were better off not mentioning the Queen in her presence, if you didn’t want to talk about her for the next hour.

Jennie also loved cats, she thought that everyone should have at least one cat.

Jennie’s is survived by her children: Jesse (Carrie) Crawford, of Stephenville, TX. Jaclyn (Jonathan) Hagan, of Mineville, NY. Rhapsody (Adrian) Luna, of Midland, TX. Jennie is also survived by her 3 grandchildren Daryn, Lydia and Jack of Mineville, NY.

Jennie is predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce Swyter of Eldorado and her parents, Ruggie and Sydonia Wilson of Sonora, TX.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Charlene Terry of Eldorado and Laura Garza of Sonora.

The family would also like to thank the communities of Eldorado and Sonora, that offered Jennie so much love and support over the years.

Memorial Services will be held graveside in Eldorado, TX. Cemetery on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
