Joe Pat Downing, Sr. received his heavenly invitation on April 15, 2022.

He was met by his family, friends, and pets that have gone on before him.
He lived a full life. Worked hard no matter what job he had. He loved the Lord! He had such a giving heart. He adopted everyone as one of the family. All those that knew him loved him, enjoyed his stories, cinnamon rolls, pancakes, Grandma’s sugar cookies, and so much more. He was a nature and animal lover.

He was a great son, brother, nephew, uncle, and cousin. He was a loving husband, an awesome father, papa, and great papa. A good friend to all.
We are left with his love and memories in our hearts! He will never be forgotten, always loved, forever in our hearts.

As we say our farewells we say to you we will see you soon!!
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Ann Downing.

Son, Larry Monroe and wife Gay Monroe. Johnny Bristow, Madison Bristow, Sandra Monroe, Kassandra Monroe, and Amanda Monore.

Son, John Bernard Downing and wife Robin Downing. Vicki and Don Vesa, Kellie and Jud Martin, Navey and Hank Martin, John Travis and Morgan Downing, Sammy Downing, Jensen Downing, Alexander Downing.

Son, Joe Pat Downing, Jr. and wife Natalie Downing, Cheyenne Downing, Chaylene and Keaton Klockow.

Daughter-in-law, Deanna Downing, Augustus Downing, Meagan Downing.
Daughter, Karen Burns, Dusty Laredo Padilla, Ashley Jo Padilla, Erin Castillo, Amos Arrendondo, Stetson Aquirre.

Daughter, Aleta Treva Brundige, Cody Brundige

Memorial Services May 7, 2022, Lighthouse Community Church, Sonora, TX 4pm-6pm. Visit and fellowship after and more story telling.
