Amy Elizabeth Blair, of Medina, TX, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the age of 51.
Amy was born to Robert Studebaker Smith and Ramona Dykstra Smith on June 24, 1964 in Hampton, VA.
Amy grew up as the youngest of four girls. She graduated from The University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Animal Behavior and Ecology.
She received a Master of Science in Wildlife from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX where she met and married Keith Blair on June 23, 1990. They had one child, Hannah Blair, born on October 7, 1996.
Amy is survived by her husband, Keith Blair; her daughter, Hannah Blair; her mother, Ramona Dykstra Smith of Norfolk, VA; her sisters, Susan Ziller of Norfolk, VA, Nancy Malm of Bethesda, MD and Mary Ellen Huetinck of Lake Arrowhead, CA.
Amy was preceded in death by her father, Robert Studebaker Smith and a brother, Robert Bruce Smith.
Amy's life will be celebrated on June 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Hill County Youth Events Center (River Star), 4000 Riverside Drive, Kerrville, TX.
Attendees should wear bright colors.
A meal will be provided and there could be some dancing.
