Elizabeth “Dale” Riedale West Eubank of Bandera, Texas went to be with the Lord in Heaven at 3:03am on Friday, March 3, 2023. She peacefully crossed over taking the hand of Gene, her husband of 58 years, and went with him into Heaven. Dale is finally at rest in the arms of our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a hard and courageous battle against numerous health issues.
Dale was born February 20, 1939 in San Angelo, Texas to Palmer and Blanche West. She attended Eldorado High School where she was involved in choir, cheer-leading, drum majorette and sports, graduating in 1957. She retired from USAA (United Services Automobile Association) in December 1992 after 16 years of dedicated employment. She was a member of Bandera United Methodist Church and had a strong faith in the Lord and His word/scriptures. Dale was involved in numerous activities for churches, schools and senior centers. Her favorite position of “employment” was that of being a Mom and Grandmother. She loved her family with her entire heart and soul.
Dale was a caring, loving and attentive wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt and longtime friend to many. She lived life to its fullest through simple pleasures spent with family and friends. Dale loved to laugh and talk to anyone...she never met a stranger! Dale enjoyed following Gene to numerous golf tournaments he played in while spending time with family and friends in the beauty of God’s outdoor majesty enjoying the friendly competition and great stories experienced during the game. Dale and Gene met at a country dance, fell in love and have danced their life’s journey together on earth and now in Heaven.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Gene Pyron Eubank and her parents, Palmer and Blanche West. Dale is survived by her son-Michael Scott Eubank(Gina) and daughter-Leslie Lynn Eubank Neill(Donnie); brother-in-law-John D. Eubank(Judy); beloved grandchildren-Shaylan Denee Eubank, Travis Ray Neill and Garrett Pyron Neill; niece Katie Sue Eubank and nephew-Bill Eubank.
