John Quincy Adams passed away on February 16, 2016 in his home in Roosevelt, Texas.

He was the son of Eugene & Delores Adams.

John is survived by his wife Susie and daughter Johnna Dorman.

He is also survived by two granddaughters Reese Riley Thibodeau & Quincy Kale Dorman and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John was born on May 23, 1949 in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Sonora High School and attended Angelo State University as well as Texas Tech.

He worked hard in the oilfield service industry for over 30 years and retired from Baker Hughes in May 2013.

Nothing could surpass John's love for family and friends. His door was always open with a cup of coffee and warm friendly smile.

John loved the great outdoors not to mention his love for fishing, all kinds from bass to redfish. He enjoyed golfing, auctioneering, singing and loved to go to the mountains to smell the pine trees. He was an active member in Cedar Hill Church of Christ in Roosevelt.

Graveside services were held on Friday, February 19th, at Cedar Hill Cemetery near Roosevelt Texas.

Services were conducted by Kerbow Funeral Home of Sonora with Clyde Dukes officiating.

A family visitation and lunch , at the Cedar Hill Church of Christ followed the service.
