Robert "Bob" Paul Mooney was born in Evansville, Indiana, on January 27, 1936 to Joseph and Marie Mooney.
He was the eldest of four children.
Mooney was married to Agnes A.lvey for 57 years.
He passed away on August 8, 2016, in San Angelo, at the age of 80-years.
Bob served his country in the United States Navy as a Seabee for 2-years, and he continued his service in the United States Border Patrol for 25 years.
He was a well-respected member of his community, and he is most known for his skill as a machinist and gunsmith.
He was a longtime resident of Dove Creek and Sonora.
Bob is survived by his wife, Agnes, 6 children and their spouses: Pat and Gary Hann. Theresa and Jerry Beene, Curtis Mooney, Nancy and Mark North, LaDonna and David Alaman, and Mickey and Joe Schaefer.
His life is celebrated by 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and 2 grandchildren.
