Thomas Gene Thompson, 69, of Glen Rose, passed away early on Tuesday afternoon, March 19, 2024 in Glen Rose, Texas.
Gene was born on October 16, 1954, in Crane, Texas to the late Lano and Bobbye Thompson. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Gene is survived by his son, Walker Thompson of San Marcos, Texas. Cremation has taken place and all services will be private. His remains will be buried next to his late brother, Bill Thompson, in the family plot in Sonora, Texas.
Memorials can be sent in Gene’s name as donations to the Sonora Golf Association.
